MCS will update the At-A-Glance Calendar, as necessary, throughout the school year.
3-13-2026 Important Update – Waiver of Make-up Days
The West Virginia Department of Education has issued a waiver to counties that exceeded their allotted number of snow days, allowing Monongalia County to adjust how the additional missed days are managed.
As a result, the MCS calendar will now follow the originally scheduled dates:
• Tuesday, March 17 – No school for students or staff
• Wednesday, May 6 – No school for students; Professional Learning Day for staff
